
I’m Bethany, a typical college student trying to navigate through the challenges of young adult life. I have created this blog because I have a desire to share with others my newfound passion for health and fitness and show them how they can ignite that passion in themselves! My story is a rather interesting one, as growing up, my lifestyle was the complete opposite of what it is now. I definitely did not have the desire to take care of my body the right way through exercise and a healthy diet, but at the same time, I think to myself, perhaps that was because I didn’t know how or where to start. I was overweight due to poor dietary choices, and not exposing myself to much physical activity at all, I lived within the confines of a sedentary lifestyle. It was in November 2017 that one day I decided I wanted to seriously make some changes, and shortly afterward I began moderately exercising at home 3-4 times a week and making alterations in my diet and portions. As time went on, I realized my goals changed and my focus shifted. I started out simply wanting to lose weight, and after losing a lot of weight, my goals shifted towards working on strength, conditioning and agility through the following of several other fitness blogs and programs. Having gained more control over my health and lifestyle, I feel so much better not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well, which is even more important than physical appearance. I am glad I have finally found a lifestyle that I can stick with in the long term, and now, through this blog, I share with you how exactly I made it to where I am today in order to help others realize that a true lifestyle change is totally possible!
